Always wanted to learn how to make a terrarium? At Walden, we are big fans of the DIY culture, so we have prepared a workshop for you where you will learn everything terrarium! How and why they work, the main “ingredients” you need to make one, and how to care for this lovely small ecosystem so you can enjoy it for years to come. We’ll also throw in a bit of terrarium history!
The special thing about this workshop will be that it will be held entirely in english – for all the foreigners and expats that are living in Zagreb and are still a bit unsure about their Croatian language skills.
After the theoretical part of the workshop, we’ll invite you to connect with nature, immerse your hands in a little soil and create your own terrarium in a “Capsule M” glass vase with a cork lid. Your guide will be our terrarium maker and founder of Walden, Danijela, who has been making terrariums since 2019.
All materials and tools needed for making your own terrarium are included in the price. To make things even more fun, you’ll be greeted with a welcome drink and some snacks. Of course, at the end of the workshop you’re taking the terrarium you make home with you, along with all the necessary instructions on how to properly care for it.

Refund and cancellation policy:
We can give a full refund or offer a transfer for a workshop on an alternative date if you cancel your attendance at least 5 days (120 h) before the workshop. Due to organisational reasons, no refund or transfer is possible within a shorter period of time, but you can send a friend or family member to take your place at the workshop.
